What We Believe
Salvation is a free gift, given to us by God at the moment you put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. A believer has eternal life and can never lose their salvation (once saved, always saved.) For more information go to “The Gospel” tab on this website.
The King James Bible is the preserved Word of God for us in the English language and is without error. We are “King James Bible only.”
Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified on a cross, was buried, and rose again from the dead after 3 days.
The godhead consists of the Father, the Word (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Ghost and these three are one (the trinity.)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person, with a body, will, intellect, emotion and ability to communicate. We believe that the Holy Spirit is God and reject the teaching that the Holy Spirit is simply a force, power or energy.
A New Testament church should be independent, with Christ as its head, and not part of a denomination.
Church attendance is crucial to living for God. The church is a local congregation of believers and is for the edification and exhortation of the saints.
After putting all your trust and faith in Jesus, believers should be baptized by immersion. Baptism is not a part of salvation, but rather demonstrates the belief in Christ that they now have.
God created the world in 6 literal days (~24 hours) around ~6,300 years ago based on the chronology of the Bible
What We DON’T Believe
We reject the “Repent of your sins” as a requirement of salvation. Repentance for salvation has nothing to do with turning from sin. It’s changing your mind and trusting Christ alone.
We reject the Charismatic movement (glossolalia, false signs and wonders, extra-biblical revelation, etc.)
We reject Pentecostal Oneness / Modalism / Jesus Only (Rejecting the TRINITY – 3 Persons)
We reject the teaching of Calvinism on all five points.
We reject worldliness and believe in holy, separated living.
